I have an unlimited text plan? Hey

I live in canada, and I have an unlimited text plan by solo mobile ($25/unlimited text/100 free minutes ... just incase anyone has the same plan) anyways my friend lives in buffalo, so i am wondering is it free for me to text to him?

Hopefully someone else has this plan/service and can provide me with some help..
