Solo Beats by Dr. Dre or Sony MDR-XB700?

So I'm getting headphones, and i'm stuck between these two, the Solo Beats or the Extra bass from sony. The Solo's definitely look good and you'd be all pimping with those on but the sony's apparently sound really good and have crazy bass, I'm having a hard time choosing, any advice? If I had extra cash though I'd go for the Beats by Dr. Dre, they're a little over my budget, but if I can get them that's definitely my choice over these two.
 
I currently owned the mdr xb500 then switched to xb700. Oh my God that are beast. I bought them for around 90 dollars from walmart.com and they are amazing. I recommend the sonys extra bass over everything they are a non expensive good pair of headphones that vibrate your head feeling like your getting a massage.:all mighty:
