So in the news their has been information on solar flares lately; personally I don't believe solar flares will happen any time soon that will disrupt Earth. However it got me thinking, if a large solar flare storm was to happen, would it temporarily knock out electronic equipment? Or somehow permanently damage it so all electronics would need replacing?
