Soft reset and password doesn't work

Hi, have set up my Palm TX with a password under Security. Have noticed when requiring a soft reset the Palm just gets in without requiring a password. Is the software buggy?? have checked and there is no update software.

I have the Palm to auto lock after 3 hours of inactivity. Usually after 4 hours time I'm checking that I have found the Palm has crashed.

I just did a test by locking it and then a soft reset. The Palm asked for a password, hmmm so maybe the Palm crashed before the password locked. Not sure if this would be the same if after a Palm crash compared to my test.

I'm going to change it to lock after power is off, this will be a pain to have to type in the password every time I turn it on, but it's the only way to check after it crashes what happens.

Will report back after the next crash what happens.

do you know if Palm is planning on giving support for Palm T|X users with CDMA cellphones?
