hi..sorry for bad English...
im Indian.married in japan...i love nokia handsets ...im a big fan of nokia....so when i come to japan im sad that my in-laws family using au and my husband too....they said me if i do not use au by kddi we can not take benefit of free calls to family subscription...but now my father gifts me nokia 5800 ...so i take the handset to soft-bank...they said soft-bank is only compatible to soft bank mobiles....so i feel really sad....by my husbands friend have soft-bank...and he just give us his Sim to us for 1 day to check it in my mobile...and it was running like a charm...receiving sms .making n receiving calls...
why soft-bank japan says not compatible
are they afraid of it can be a stolen handset ??? i have all bills and box i can show it is properly buyed from India...pls help me what can i do??? i wants to use my handset...
