Okay. Being an avid gay rights supporter (and gay) and even though I have no doubt in my mind that gays should have equal rights, I can at least see that some intelligent people are against gay marriage.
Sodomy laws, though....that is where I just go crazy. How can somebody dictate what we can put in our asses? If I wanted a dick in my nostril, who is fit to say that I can't? Plus, how can it be a law anyway if you do it in the privacy of your own home? I mean, sex in public is illegal anyway. What are police going to watch in your windows and see what you stick in your butt?
Does anyone know where sodomy laws still exist, and why?
Plus, there are some sodomy laws that say that you can only practice it if you are married, so don't give me any crap about diseases. Isn't saying that you can practice sodomy if you are married like saying 'you can vote if you can write your name' when they know that blacks can't write? (in terms of gays, though, of course)
