anything about Bush? What's odd is that there were NO protests when Bush spent billions on Medicare Part D--without providing ANY way to pay for it.....when Bush spent trillions on the Iraq war--without providing ANY way to pay for it.....when Bush provided free, universal health care to ALL Iraqis and Afghans for the past 8 years via OUR tax dollars--without providing ANY way to pay for it....

In case you've forgotten many many many people protested and marched against the war in Iraq......the president who did what he wanted all through his administration, did exactly what he wanted against the wishes of the American people.

I'm all for protest and free speech but I wish a lot of the people complaining would offer real solutions that work for the whole country, not just the wealthy.

When the TAXES people have to pay are INCREASED...less money is spent by consumers. The LESS MONEY spent by consumers causes LESS DEMAND FOR PRODUCTS.

The LESS DEMAND FOR PRODUCTS = MORE LAYOFFS.

The MORE LAYOFFS = LESS MONEY being collected by the government.

The LESS MONEY being collected by the government...the NEED to RAISE TAXES increases.

I'm not complaining. I did hope for a little more involvement. According to YA folks it was supposed to be huge and clearly it wasn't.
