They are two separate groups of con men trying to steal all the money they can from governments and people. Every few years some religious freak comes up with a end of the world scam to get people to give them money to save them from a fictional problem. Shun the con men and save your money and become a skeptic of evangelistic scare tactics that want money to save or protect you from an imaginary future disaster.
I would suggest renting and watching this movie as it tells the absolute truth about what you can expect from any and all forms of save the world evangelism. All they want is your money and once they have it they will vanish with new identities.
