So what came first the egg of the chicken?

yes i know you going to say either the egg or the chicken but let me explain why i still dont get it up to this day...if the chicken came first then where did she come from because she wasnt an egg, but if it was the egg then where did the egg come from...HELP
 
i say the chicken the egg had to come from some where
it's like saying what came first the baby or the mother
