He could either turn America around, build the economy back up, repair alliances with other countries, help make Americans respected in the eyes of other people, and help make America the truely great place it once wasOR he could have the economy collapse, terrorists attacking, have Americans look like even bigger idoits, and destroy the countryFor him I dont think there is middle ground I think hes a good big or go bad kinda guy. I hope he does good. As a Canadian it was hard watching America become worse and worse over the past 8 years and I truely hope he can turn the countries economy and image around

I think his empty promises won't amount to anything. He'll be known as the popular "do nothing" president.

HotstuffI love America....its the only country that does something about it...while others WATCH and critiquethe reason why we have decline is because of liberal philosophy entrenched in our lifestyle...think about it..each generation has moved more to the left....have we gotten any better. The evidence is there.

I think things will improve. We won't actually KNOW the effect for several months.

As an American I can only hope and believe that he will be the best thing that ever happened to the US, and succeed beyond my wildest dreams. Or was that one.......

I think there will be a war here in America because of the socialist wave and liberalism trying to be crammed down are throat.. not everyone lives that way... I hope i am wrong I support are President just not his policies........................................

Actually there is only one way for it to go,and that is to the heavens with the power of Hope, and Change. The mighty Messiah is going to make everything in the world ok now. If you don't believe me then watch CNN....No one is smarter then the media. Except of course our heavenly father the mighty Lord, and Savior himself. Messiah Obama.

I don't fully agree with you because I think there is a middle ground. I don't think any president can succeed big time at this point. They can do a lot, and push our country heavily in one direction, but by the end of 4 years you wont see a huge massive change. Maybe at the end of 8 years if he's absolutely amazing, but this is not such a cut and dry situation. However, you bring up a good point. He can go one way or the other, and the main reason he'd go the other is if people like many of the conservatives I've listened to decide to absolutely despise him. They don't try to make suggestions at what they perceive are wrong decisions, they lash out. It's the same on the other side sometimes, which scares me. The man needs our support if he's going to manage to do well at all. At least give him some benefit of the doubt. When Bush came into office, I had my preconceptions, but I gave him a ton of rope to work with, pretending like what he'd done in the past had never happened, and he managed to make me regret it. I'm not asking that other people do the same for Obama, I'm asking that people give the man some respect and acknowledge that he is our leader, and that we have to work with him if we plan to get anything done.

He is the middle ground, what do you mean there is no middle ground. HIs strategy is smile talk nice and please everyone.
