... will having to play test matches now be the excuse for failing at T20?

Or will BCCI admit they have some serious failings within India's cricketing culture, structure and administration and look to do something about it?

I dont remember any Indian fans here claiming IPL to be the reason for India's poor performance in test cricket, much less it being "THE excuse" (??) . Though I do remember some of the more observant Indians pointing out the pitch irregularities and unsporting play by the hosts throughout the test series. I being one of them still stand by it.
