LOL, well I would not help my kid (if I had any) dodge the draft. I would be proud of them if they served. But you are missing one thing. There will not be a draft.
 
Did you fact check that question? Some how I think not.

Although a new draft has been proposed by some people (both sides), no one is actually bringing it back.
 
I disagree with you not on this issue
Not only should we bring the draft back But it should have been done a long time ago .
Understand that in my youth I hated the draft and that there was no love lost between me and my draftboard.
However as I 've gotten older I've come to understand that for all of it's failings the draft system was a democratic institution...something the volunteer army clearly is not.
A volunteer army in effect out sources war.
We pay low wage earners to fight our wars .
We disingenuously say "We support our troops " while never having to involuntarily be placed in the position of becoming one
A volunteer army is not only undemocratic But it is also bad for America.
There is something fundamentally dangerous about an army that everybody wants to be a part of.
