So now that Ive got my PS3 - A/V question

Ive been looking at A/V recievers for a while now, and Im wondering if 7.1 surround is something I should be considering, or does the PS3 and Blu-Ray only support 5.1?

it supports 7.1. just make sure you have a hdmi ports on the receiver.

That's the receiver I was looking at. I just don't know what speakers to buy.
