...terrorists, not just a mosque? His Royal Highness HRH Prince Alwaleed bin Talal bin Abdulaziz Alsaud, the second largest shareholder in News Corporation, parent company of Fox News, is not merely funding the (pretty benign) NYC mosque.
It turns out that his foundation donated $200,000 to the Islamic Development Bank. According to the foundation's own website, one goal of the Islamic Development Bank is to promote "Muslim communities in non-member countries in accordance with the principles of Shari'ah."
However ACCORDING TO FOX NEWS frequent guest Stephen Schwartz, the Islamic Development Bank is actually a front for the attempt to spread radical Wahhabism (a fundamentalist branch of Islam) throughout the United States.
The same foundation also donated $500,000 to the Council on American-Islamic Relations — which has been repeatedly denounced on Fox News air by Pamela Geller and others as a terror group.
And BTW, if you think the Prince's 7% stake in Newscorp. is small: a 7% stake in Newscorp. = $2.21 BILLION. Every time Newscorp's stock goes up by ONE PENNY, this guy's investment in Newscorp. increases by $14 MILLION. You think that's a small investment?

A 7% shareholder is considered a "major shareholder" required to report purchases and sales of stock in the company under the Securities Act of 1933. There is a reason for that: Even in you have only a 7% stake in the company, that's enough to influence it's board membership. If the Prince pulled OUT of Newscorp., it would devastate the company.
