So many symptoms, not sure where to put this!

I am a 32 y/o female, 5'4" about 118 pounds.
I have had daily headaches for years, annoying, but don't interfere with my daily activities. In Sept 2009, they started getting worse. I was told they were tension headaches and given Relpax. The Relpax gave me horrible side effects. I would sleep for about 4 hours and wake up with the same headache. In January, the headaches started getting worse. I feel like I'm in a fog all day long. I lose words. My balance is off and I just feel "out of it" even though I'm not on any medication. I had a headache that ranged from 6-9 all last week. I went to the doctor who said I needed more help than he could give me and referred me to a neurologist. He did give me fioricet for the pain. I went to the neurologist the next day. I told her of my constant headaches, back and neck pain, hip pain, and leg pain. She said I just needed a more restful sleep. She gave me trazadone and mirapex plus told me to take 10 mg of Melatonin/night. The next day I woke up in so much pain. I attempted to go to work anyway and ended up throwing up on the side of the interstate! Last night I woke up around 4 times with horrible ear ache. It isn't contstant but sharp and stabbing pain. I also have chronic constipation. I have a movement maybe once every 3-4 weeks. I have always had this but I could eat an apple or salad and go 24 hours later. Now no food, laxative, or fiber drink helps.
I'm tired of something always hurting me. I go tomorrow for CT and bloodwork. If they tell me that I just need sleep, I may go off on them. I get at least 8 hours a night. I feel mentally and physically exhausted regardless of how much sleep I get.
I'm sick and tired of being sick and tired. I have two kids that want me to play with them and I never have the energy or it just hurts to move!
Any advice?????

Wow! I can't believe this. I just joined this site so that I could reply to you. I'm on the site looking for adrenal information for my daughter, but looked at your topic first and had to respond to you!
My daughter has very similar symptoms. Although I believe she may have a couple of things going on and not just this. We're still trying to figure it all out. The good news is that we're getting closer!
Anyway - you need to look up something called Arnold Chiari Malformation. Or just Chiari 1 Malformation. If you have an MRI, please have it read by a neurosurgeon who deals in this particular specialty. Make sure the ordering physician knows which MRI scan to order before going for the scan. My daughter had a neurologist, suggested by the pediatrician, but obviously not familiar with chiari's, read her result and told us that she did not have it. We were lucky that someone told us to have someone in this specific area read the scan results. It turns out, she didn't have the particular scan that can see if she has this or not! We are in the process of dealing with our insurance company to get another MRI! Don't let this happen to you! Best of luck to you!

Thank you for your reply! I looked it up. I did have whiplash in 12/08. I'm scheduled for a CT scan tomorrow. Maybe I should request an MRI?
I hope things start looking up for your daughter. I'm glad you got a diagnosis for her. That seems to make things better!
