then the other side is? forcing their morality or their will on you?
Do I have it right?
Its forcing morality on others only when its not the side you wanted to win, but if you win an issue during an election then you havent just imposed your will on everyone else that didnt vote your way????
I just want to make sure I have the hypocrisy correct!
and if you are going to claim something is unconstitutional then can you please cite the federal court case, federal law or EXACT language of the US Constitution that specifically states what you are claiming is unconstitutional!
or is it somehow wrong to ask for actual legal proof to back up assertions in here when stating something is unconstitutional?
Anon
Fair enough
I should have just addressed this to US citizens, but the actual concept can apply across country lines.
darkness
actually, no
This can apply to a great number of issues that are brought up in this section
Bill
No I was talking about the concept in general, but there was so much legally incorrect about what you just typed.
I am NOT just talking about gay marriage.
This issue has come up when people have discussed abortion, creationism, prayer in school, alcohol restricting laws, dress codes, etc etc.
Michael
Prove up your claim with some kind of legal authority that isnt just your opinion on what you THINK the Constitution says.
Give me one legal case where a federal court states that defining it in that manner violates Constitutional rights. (because any FEDERAL case that actually addresses this issue says the exact opposite)
Sherry
People make the claim that religious people impose their beliefs within the law all the time in this section.
That is why the question is in this section.
Vernon
You didnt read my question correctly
I said do I have it right, not is it right
But thats ok, I forgive you,
