1. What are the best freebies available?

2. Any decent movies released recently? The house I'm in doesn't have a great tv or sound system so i might leave the blockbusters for another day, but feel free to recommend.
 
Anything that's fun, thought-provoking or sci-fi. I tend to stay away from chick flicks, dramas involving love and sleaze, and teen comedies.

I'm more interested in what I can get for free though :p
