Ok so one night in January I was sitting there when it felt like my breath was taken away. From then on for the next month I had heart palpatations, breathing difficulty, shaking constantly, sick to stomach, a week at a time I'd get so I couldn't eat, severe heartburn and what seemed like allergies or sinus infections. That went on until about Feb. and then the symptoms started to change. I had been tested for everything you can think of, having blood tests, CTs, UltrasounRAB, Xrays, EKGs and everything was normal.
Now its April and the anxiety type symptoms persist, along with severe heartburn (I take aciphex for it), headaches (everyday), palpatations, insomnia (Take Lunesta), rapid heart rate (Take propranolol), and feel like I dont want to do ANYTHING. I get to the point where when I lay down my heart pounRAB throughout my body and I get really bad palpatations. I was tested back in the end of 07 for Thyroid problems and my chest CT in Feb of this year saw the thyroid and both showed normal. I had a full gallbladder study and that was all normal.
I am getting very very frusterated with this. All symptoms started when my car had broken, money was getting low, dad died 6 months before, and cant find a job. I was very very stressed out and dont know if that was a concidence.
Now this week I'm having my thyroid completely checked again along with a thyroid ultrasound. I am hoping to god for some kind of a diagnosis (hopefully not bad) so I can actually have a life again. Has anyone experienced this?? 8 different doctors have put this off on anxiety along with 2 different ER docs. I have been to an ENT who said "Oh you are fine" without testing and a gastro doc who didnt do anything either. I am finally to a dr that is checking into things more. Any help would be VERY appreciated.
