I've been on vacation, so I've only gotten to use a friends and have only been able to play Wii sports so far

Zelda of course

Rayman or Monkey ball?

Any of the racing games worthwhile?

Anything to completely avoid?

The only two games I know I DONT want are COD3 and Madden because I've played them on a differant system and just don't have the money to spend on games I've played
 
I have, but I often find I completely disagree with a lot of the reviews

What is the verdict on Red Steel? Controls make it unplayable or are they passable enough to still enjoy the game?
 
I wouldn't get red steel. Wait for a better FPS to come out. I think farcry is coming out for the wii, not sure. I honestly would only get a few games for the wii. Wait until better ones come out. Maybe monkey ball or rayman if you like those kind of games and I heard trauma center was pretty good also. Just depends on what you like. Zelda will be the only game I have for a while because of the lack of money.
 
Madden is a great game and I love the Wii so far.......but Madden sucks on the Wii.

It may be fun if you are more of a gamer than a sports fan but the PS2 version is much better and more realistic.

^what i'll be getting (based on what people have said about them. zelda is a given, obviously). only briefly played zelda though.

with red steel and madden, i'll wait 6 months and pick them up for half price or less used.
