So I was thinking about joining the military?

I just need to know: where are the respawn points? In the event that I die where will I repsawn? Do I respawn with random weapons or can I choose a custom class? Also it seems you cannot see the waypoint over the enemy flag, is the U.S playing on hardcore or if this is a glitch has any one reported it?
