So, I was at the mall yesterday, and I saw all of these little girls running around...?

Dressed in Aeropostale XS sized shirts, about 4'11, with their little Uggs. They had makeup on and had either straightened/blonde hair.

I felt a little sad after seeing that. It was my birthday yesterday (I turned 15. :D), and I was just there with my mom, going for a nice shop with my birthday money. These 10-11 year old girls weren't supervised, and they were everywhere.

When I was 10, the only thing I worried about was making sure I got my school library books turned in on time, and that I fed the class fish on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. I certainly didn't care what I wore. I'd say I actually started caring what brands I wore in about the beginning of the seventh grade, and I didn't start wearing makeup until I was 13. I know I'm a little young myself, but I think that this whole problem the USA has with appearance is going way overboard if 11 year old girls expect themselves to wear makeup, straighten their hair, and wear Abercrombie and Fitch jackets.

I even saw a couple girls with acrylic nails.
Seriously?

Have you seen any little girls like this?
What do you think?
