The check engine light has been on for a week now. The 1st mech said it was code p0171 but as long as the car is running fine. It's ok. The 2nd mech said same code and that the engine is getting more air than fuel. He fiddled around, found a dirty air filter, changed that but light still back on. Then went to Auto Zone they gave me a list: low fuel pressure, faulty maf sensor, cylinder misfire, faulty h02s/af sensor or large vacuum leak. Am I right to be so concerned about this. Mechs dont seem to want to get involved. Too long/big job. Maybe. The car does run fine for the most part.
