Please don't be too harsh in your criticism. I know it sucks

Shiftless and idle
Concrete and steel
Body lacks warmth
I no longer feel

Emotions are pointless
When no one thinks they are real
Caged inside a metal box
To hide and conceal

Block out the sun
When it shines a light on your flaws
Forfeit your dreams
And give up your cause

Rot and decay
Rust and corrode
Death always comes
You choose the road
