it or not at all? I was talking to a friend about how silly every persons view on love is is. For example most people seem to base love on how much physical contact there is. Like I hear stories all the time about how people get divorced and whatnot cause the sex wasn't good...seriously? I think that's ridiculous cause if you love someone, shouldn't that in itself make the sex wonderful? If it's not, I feel there was no love at all. Which makes me believe people have a horrible misconception of what love is, which is why there is such a lack of it at all. I believe REAL love doesn't require physical touch because it transcends it, and it never ends. There was a person who once told me, "They didn't see sex and love being related," since they don't need one another to exist. Which leads me to another question. Which is more important? I know this person who thinks society needs to be even more open-minded about sex, and we should teach children about it better, because we are sexual beings, after all we are also animals, but then what about are abilities to reason? If we taught children to love properly wouldn't that make sex better? To me it seemed like she thought teaching about safe sex is better cause it's easier, rather teaching people about love and respect, which is more complicated because that's changing your inner self. I personally would prefer the latter, since in my mind, the easier way, is the dumb way. So regarding all of this, how do you think they relate, which do you see as more important, and which is more important for people to be taught?
