So i was playing zelda the ocarina of time for like the first time in 8 years, and the next morning i went to an antique shop, to look for like a drawer. So i saw this ocarina sitting there, and thought it was fate, so i bought it right away for like 10 bucks. It tastes old.
So basically i have not the slightest clue as to how to play this- lemme give you some backup
- It looks like the one in the game (sweet potato?)
- Its made in Austria, and looks really really old (it looks as if someone had been playing it alot, as the lip, and the holes are discolored and worn)
- It has 8 holes on top, 3 on bottom - 11 holes total (on the bottom there are 2 small holes, and one large one on the lip)
- On the lip top it says B7
- I cant really make a sharp sound come out of it (age?)
- Its black and gold, and there are other little markings and words, but i cant read them.
What do you think? Is it playable? What does that B7 mean? How to play it (what holes to cover and such) Was that a good price? Whats the difference between this shape, and others? Why cant i get a good sound?
