So I bought a new LCD for my NOKIA E61

I got ticked off with all the scratches on my nokia e61 and bought an LCD relatively cheap ($62 with shipping) and I'm wondering if anyone knows the exact procedure for replacing it? Do I just unscrew the 2 screws, unplug the ribbon cable, and take it off and do the reverse when putting the new LCD screen it? Or is there more too it? Any help would be appreciative. THANKS!!!

Check the E-series.org site. I remember some pretty good disection tutorials. I wouldnt start nailing it until you've got some good data.

I got a 19inch LCD and all I did was get a converter that connects with Nokias pop port to a monitor connectoer, and using Nokia Suite's Video on your PC you can see everything on your phone, on your 19inch computer monitor. I'm installing these left and right in my car, home, and pretty soon will figure out how I can get bluetooth to do this automatically without having wires danglin everywhere.

I swapped the LCD on my 6630 (from a webguide) and it was just as you ask - remove the screws, uncouple the connector et voila !
