I am really not a fan of Obama anymore. Sure he was a good story and he was a good inspiration for a lot of Americans out there when he got elected but now, I believe that he is doing an atrocious job while in office. I believe that in the future I will have to pay higher taxes and I will have to put up with tons of illegal immigrants.
I go to a majority Black high school, it is a great school (top 5 in my state) and it has some of the best teachers and best people one can ask for. Even some of my Black friends think Obama was just a fad and they are born and raised in America, they think that a lot of White people worship him out of blindness and because they are scared of being called racists. A lot of my Black friends also say that they are appalled at just how bad the bias in politics is and that other Blacks in other cities need to brighten up instead of holding a vendetta against Whites.
I on the other hand am just sick. I am sick at just how blindly people support him and just how dumb and biased they are. Yes I like Obama as a person but as a politician I believe that he is doing a bad job. I am also sick at some of his supporters being rude and idiotic, most of them do not even know what is going on. I hear people on the internet and it always come down to race and a lot of his supporters are with him just because of that reason, race. Yea he is a good speaker but seriously, he does not know what he is doing.
It has been my dream to go to Princeton but I believe the second I speak my opinion in public, I may get ridiculed and bashed.
Here are my two questions.
1. Is it regular for a high school kid to feel like this? Especially if he is Asian American.
2. If I end up living in a blue state (I live in a red state right now), will I be condemned or beaten to death if I said what I just said right now or if I do not support Obama?
