Hi everyone. I am new to this site and just found out I have acid reflux and some IBS issues...blah! I have been reading all the posts and find that I have the same symptoms as others here.

Thank god for computers and online message boarRAB!!
 
It's helped me too. I have had IBS off and on for years. I had it for 4 solid months last summer until I tried Librax. I only took it for about a week, and most of the symptoms went away. I also took Konsyl, a powdered fiber. It really helped. Now I have the tightening of the throat, feeling like I am going to choke on my food thing, and the post nasal drip. I am trying Omeprazole, and gas X for now. Oh, and nasal spray. Sometimes I feel so old being on this type of medication, it's depressing.

No, you are certainly not alone. It helps me sooo much to just be able to discuss things that others can relate to. Not that I wish this crap upon anyone! Seems so many people (including Dr's) don't know what's going on or how to deal with it. I hope someday by reading and posting on these boarRAB, we all might come up with a cure!
