up, she doesn't want to leave!? this is day 3 of pre-k and so far, she's doing awesome in school. so awesome that she doesn't want to come home!...every day is a fight. ='(
i know it's the whole transition thing, but how can we get through this phase easier?
she used to do this when we left the park/playdates etc. but i've started giving her "warning times" (example: "ok, just a little more time until we have to leave"...while closing my thumb and forefinger together...this helped her emotionally/mentally to get ready to leave and so she would willingly get ready to leave physically)
but now she's in pre-k...3 hrs M-F mornings...and i guess there is no "warning times"...they have a relaxed routine....pick up time is right after story time everyday.
so... any tips would be greatly appreciated!
