So the Dr. I've been going to had her first baby in Feb., took maternity leave, came back and realized that she just can't be a mom and be on call (no partner in the office, her husband works nights, etc.) so no more deliveries for her since May 1st. She sent me to another Dr. (not that it matters, but a guy), who seems like a great dr., but I don't really like... something about him, maybe it's just the whole getting used to a new person looking at my stuff when I'm 37 weeks along (35 or 36 according to him). And where my old Dr. understood that a few cups of coffee a week wasn't going to kill me or the baby, this one's one of those "Anything unnatural is bad for the baby and for you" type dr.s, "No coffee, no tea, no sodas, etc. etc." (Not that I've been drinking much of anything caffienated, but every now and then I want a cup of joe, dangit!!)

Basically, my point is, how far off would I be telling him that the only reason I'm going to him is so that someone other than the inept local health department dr.s isn't making sure everything's alright in these last few weeks and he's just there to catch as far as I'm concerned, and he can lay off all the overbearing "advice"?
Sorry, just been grating on my nerves since last week when he rescheduled my first appointment with him, and had to reschedule this weeks appointment as well. Last week was fun, they rescheduled me for 1:00 said to show up early for paperwork and such... well NO ONE'S IN THEIR OFFICE BETWEEN 12 AND 1!! So there I am sitting out in the medical center hallway on THE most uncomfortable bench in the WORLD for over half an hour waiting to get in and get started.... *mutter*
I would, trust me, but transportation is tough now (my car decided that it doesn't like it starter anymore) and he's the closest one that takes medicaid... As I said, as far as I'm concerned, he's just there to catch.
Yes, Kat, there is the bestest friend in the whole world and her daughter thing, but make one of you drive to Tville just to drive back to PSJ? I just figured I'd make sweetie do it, but don't worry, if he ends up being busy, you'll get a call. Just so dang BOTHERSOME.
