Screw that nonsense. There is a lot of substance to the Vista shell, it puts XP to shame (not that XP's default interface needed any help achieving shame).
new Start Menu actually makes sense unlike the XP Start Menu, is properly organized and auto-sorts entries
left-hand panes in Explorer shell windows are useful now and not just for retards
breadcrumb navigation in place of the address bar
uber fast indexed file search with no stupid little doggy buddy
no more irritating bubble notifications
realtime window previews for alt-tab and taskbar buttons
Gadgets/Sidebar
...And yes, it's fucking pretty. What exactly is the problem with that?
