so advise please about getting tested for stds?

I think it would be like a smear, always be truthfull with your Dr. remember they cant tell anyone anything about you, I treat my Dr. like shes my bestfriend that cant tell secrets, and they really do need to know everything there is to know about you. Your doctor will know what kind of tests to run on you, I dont think theres blood work unless you want an aids test.
 
i have a cheating ex .i know i need to get tested .what does it invole ?would it be like going for a smear ?.i no its the right thing to do but im so scared also what should i ask to be teated for ?
