Snow white- when the author wrote this, who was he addressing it to?

i have to present somethign on snow white and i need some suggestions as to wat to say. So I need to talk about what rhetorical devices were used, how the story is for children, what was the author trieing to tell the children when making the story and is this directed to innocent children or other|??
