Snapdragon vs. Hummingbird Processor

At least as far as gaming goes it appears that the Hummingbird processor that powers phones like the Galaxy S, outclasses the Snapdragon processor powered phones like the Desire, EVO, etc..

Not hard to figure out why; when you have a significantly faste graphics core, that easily puts you in front for gaming or most other visually intensive tasks.

It's why the clock speeds on HTC's newer phones don't tell the whole story. A 1GHz chip is great, but if it's not linked to a fast graphics system, you'll run into a wall. I'd rather have an iPhone 3GS or Droid for gaming than a Nexus One/Evo/Incredible for that reason.
