SMS unable to send

about 20% of the time SMS messages fail to send. i had this issue on my G1 but now that I have a myTouch the problem persists. i have to long press and tell it to edit so i can resend.
Blackberry seems to keep on trying to send automatically but it times out and stops on Android. is this an Android bug? or 3g bug....
 
I am having the exact same issue, G1 with cupcake
Very irritating, I have to re-edit then resend.

Sometimes it says it did not send the message and in the meanwhile the person with the other cellphone does get the message.
Hope this has been fixed in Donut.
 
same thing happens here except not 20% of the time, just sometimes

but i definitely dont like when it says not sent and the person receives it, ive sent someone the same message like 4 times before trying to get it to go through on my end

sometimes it wont send a new text or receive until i reboot the phone it does get very annoying
 
This is a MAJOR concern of mine. I was in hurricane katrina and with the congested phone lines we relied on our phones sending text messages. If it wasn't able to send the message immediately, which most times it didn't, it would keep trying. With these android phones though, I'm afraid the messages wouldn't get through.
 
Hey guys, I know this post is rather old but this is still an issue on phones such as the HTC Tattoo (which I own) and it's getting on my nerves, so... are there any news on how to fix this yet?
