SMS problem

Help! I have recently started using my BB Bold 9700. I added my contacts from my SIM and since then, I am unable to send SMS to one contact. Well....it appears that the message is sent as a little tick comes up beside it, but it is never received. I can call her, and receive SMS from her. I called my carrier (Vodafone UK) and they said it was the other network (Orange). Orange said it was Vodafone. Does anyone have an idea about how to resolve this? I have deleted the contact and re-entered it again but no difference. Thanks.
