SMS "Google" doesnt work with Cricket?

Booo. My wife and I use this feature CONSTANTLY and are a little bummed that it doesnt work with Cricket. For those that dont know what I am talking about, if you SMS "Google" with a listing, directions, etc you will get back a response with the requested info. We use it all the time for local phone #'s, etc since it is FREE, vs. calling 411.

We texted Google this morning and found that Cricket doesnt support it. Cricket send an SMS back saying it isnt a feature they support. LAME.

what your are talking about cricket once had but never advertised well, at least in the syracuse market. I used to be able to put in an area code and find all the pizza shops located but I found it not to work too well. That was about two years ago.

I had t-Mobile and it also worked fine and now it doesn't with cricket. But what Google has done if you dont know, is 1-800-Goog-411 . its a free service and it works perfectly. And NO annoying people to talk to, all Voice activated.

I heard a while back that they were still adding texting features lick for google, yahoo, and aim.

Cricket is new to Portland, OR. My wife and I have had it for a few weeks and just found out that the SMS google doesnt work. Hopefully it will be back up and running soon.
