message.? Been at this for a few days now, I'm trying to setup a Samsung SGH-J706 cell with Windows Live Mobile, so that contacts can text me when I'm offline in Windows Live Messenger. It's worked flawlessly for months previous, but I had to disable the service temporarily. I have checked with my wireless carrier Rogers Wireless, they went as far as to reset my device and have confirmed there are no issues with sending or receiving text messages.

Now when I go to re-register the phone, I get as far as the part where Windows Live says they will send a text message with the 4-digit code, it never arrives! I have tried various combinations of entering the mobile number and still nothing.
The example shown does not call for +1 to be in front of the mobile number but does show to include parentheses around the area code and to add the required spaces and hyphen i.e. (xxx) xxx-xxxx

The best answer I got was that Windows Live support was aware of the problem and to wait 32-72 hours and hopefully by then, the situation will have been resolved. Its been well past that time period now, and to date, I cannot receive this SMS verification text message from Windows Live Mobile - what gives?

Anyone have any ideas?
