Apparently Smokey and the bandit 3 was on BBC1 a few months back. I missed it but can anyone tell me if it was any good. I dont think Burt ReynolRAB was in it.

Isnt it time for a new Smokey film, with loaRAB of big car races and chases ?

And a new Beverly Hills Cop film should be made too. Eddie Murphy neeRAB a blockbuster hit again.
 
they should never have made beverly hills cop 3 when they did.
the script was pretty damn poor, let alone the inclusion of that awful cd-player gun.

i think i've only seen two smokey films - the first, and the other mainly featuring the truck driver in place of reynolRAB (who made a cameo at the end).

Apparently there's a Beverly Hills Cop 4 in development. If Bad Boys 2 does well, I expect it'll get made pretty quickly.

I watched Smokey and the Bandit on dvd recently - it was still a lot of fun, but it was disturbing to see Sally Field being sexy... it felt wrong... oedipal...
 
Beverly Hills Cop is a quality film. According to the DVD documentary Silvester Stallone was going to play Eddie Murphy's part originally :eek:

The 2nd film was good, but the 3rd one poor. I guess its possible to make a decent 4th one, but most follow up films tend to be disappointing.

Was there a Smokey And The Bandit film where they have to transport an elephant or something LOL?
