smell/taste of raw flesh in mouth 4 months after wisdom teeth removal

Hi there,

I got 2 wisdom teeth removed end of October, left side and 2 end of November - right side. The bottom left one was on a nerve and the cheek was a bit swollen, so after surgery I got anti-biotics. I was badly bruised up after both surgeries. But that is all over now, except for one thing. The smell or raw meat is still in my mouth, especially lately it's gotten worse. I feel discomfort in my neck, when swallowing, as well. Left side of the neck more than the right one (front, not back). As far as I can tell it's coming from the bottom left, but could be bottom right as well. But bottom left for sure. Sometimes my whole head feels dizzy. I don't know if it's anyhow associated with the smell, which is awful by the way. I've been to the surgeon who removed the wisdom teeth. The only thing he told me is that I grind my teeth when I sleep so I need a splint. There are no discharges in my mouth and the wounds seem to heal fine (two doctors said that). The surgeon also made an x-ray of the jaw and says he doesn't see anything bad.
But I feel it's getting worse every day, going from the left cheek into the throat, making it difficult to swallow. Plus if I eat or drink, I feel nauseated right away since the taste is just awful and my stomach reacts immediately.
Help please!!!!!

Thanks a ton in advance!

P.S. I'm 25. i've had high blood pressure for 8 years. I'm taking amlodipine 5mg once to twice daily.
