I just bought a Pixma 880 and have tried printing 3 photos, all with varying size files up to 5.2 MB on 4" x 6" glossy photo paper that came with the printer. They all look terrible - they are smeary and the detail isn't sharp at all, even though the files of the photos are. The printer prints text documents and web page photos just fine. What am I doing wrong? I used the Canon utility that lets you choose the photo, paper size, and type of paper.
