smart2go question

Does anyone know how I can change my default location (without GPS)? It keeps coming up as Berlin, Germany. I live in Connecticut. Danke sch?n!

haha same here. what i did was i searched for my home address and it saves that search. so next time just search a common address in your city (like in the middle of everything) and you can go explorer from there. i know its pain but i cannot think of any other alternative

My only landmark is my house, but it doesn't recognize it as my home location. I'm really surprised there is no menu option that would allow me to change my home location.

Holux GPSlim 236 and 240 were both highly recommended AND reasonably priced, when I was buying a GPS for my N73 a few months back. I got the 236 and a buddy got the 240. No problems, except that if the gps unit hasn't been turned on for a day or longer, it can sometimes take it a few minutes to figure out where all the satelites are and lock on (i've never had a gps before, so not sure how normal that is), otherwise it's great. The battery lasts about 10 actual hours, I charge it once a wk or two now.

...just to continue the smart2go question thread....

has anyone figured out a way to extract the downloaded maps off of the MC. I downloaded three states and want to keep the file once I sell off my E50 so I can just put them into the new card for the N95. I've searched a little bit for it and looked through the hidden files but cant seem to locate them. It's over 100mbs of data but I still cant seem to find them. I know people like Rcadden who live in a state that was more than 100mbs will do the same.....hopefully one of those smUrt guys will shed some light!
...or I'll really get off my *** and dig a little deeper. Not sure which!

Just got my holux 240. I'm pretty impressed - affordably priced, works well with smart2go. I like it!

Back to the original post - It looks like smart2go starts out at the last place it had a GPS position. And since you have never had a GPS module its starting out at Nokia HQ or something like that....

How is the pricing plan structured? Can i buy for a single day and what is the cost? Is it based on time(hr)/days/month/year/ distance/?
