Is it illegal to make a gossip blog about my small town? There's a lot of funny stuff that goes on in town and I thought it would be fun to have a blog where people could comment and discuss these things-- is it illegal?
Is it considered slander if you name someone in the blog who is a resident of the community? What about their photo?
This would be mostly about business and business people in town, which I suppose are fair game since the newspaper does pretty much the same thing but on a different level-- you can't openly comment about the stories in the paper. Would this be considered slander?
