I've been smoking for around 5 years and I have recently cut down to around 2 or 3 a day for the past 2 weeks.
Yesterday when I had my first cigarette, every drag I took was accompanied with a sharp pain in the side of my throat. Its not incredibly painful but it is something I notice and have never felt before.
This has been going on for two days, and after a few drags I am uncomfortable and put the cigarette out, but I try again every now and then. Is this something I should get checked out, or should I just put the cigs down for a while?
