On my left middle finger under the fold where my finger bends I have a little rough spot that's been there for about a year or so. It sort of feels like a light callus would and has a slight yellowish tint to it in certain light - otherwise it just looks flesh colored. I was putting lotion on today and noticed another one on the same hand but on the top of my palm below my ring finger. It's not a bump or raised, it just feels like a soft yet rough patch. I guess I don't really know how else to explain it. The one on my finger is a little thicker, but still not too bad. Are these calluses? If not, are they normal? I don't do any sports or anything that really require working a lot with my hands. I'm 23, a teacher, and I write with my left hand (the hand with the rough spots) so that's about it. I've been having a slight red (not raised or itchy) rash and other weird autoimmune disease-like symptoms lately but have been blood tested a lot and nothing abnormal has shown up and so far the majority of the symptoms are getting better or gone so I hope it doesn't have any relation, since my internist has so far just diagnosed me with severe anxiety given my negative results and my history of stress/depression/anxiety.
