small pimple like bumps on lips

I have had these bumps on my lips for like 4 months now i think.i'm 22 years old... It started off as just one. what i thought was just a bit of a painful pimple that would stick around for a bit and then go away.. but after the pain and the usual white pimple puss went away it left a small red dot... no more pain or even a bump really.. just a red dot.. a smaller one sprouted next to it after about 2 weeks from the first.. Now each time a pimple shows up near my lips I am woried its going to turn into another one of these red spots.. What are these things.. and why won't they go away..
I'm in a foreign country.. don't speak the local language well.. which presents going to the local dermatologist another problem..
Any help would be much appreciated..!!!:))
 
maybe sun blisters - do you work outside? it could also be herpes- have you seen your physician? maybe some valtrex would help- just a thought-
