small dog breed that can stay home while im at school?

I want a dog for christmas, but i also want to make the right choice because I know different breeds have different needs, so I would like a small dog (teacup maybe) that would be able to stay home from 8:30 am - 3:20 pm while im at school without it like traumatizing them

short hair if possible, but not a big deal


I was looking at a beagle or a puggle or a teacup yorkie
