Small dent on front rim of Ducati Monster?

I have a M1000. It's a great bike isn't it?

What part of the rim? Is in on the edge right where the rubber meats the rim? Or more on the inside?

If the dent looks like it could create a hole then it's a problem because you'd lose your air pressure. If the dent is jagged and near the tires that could be a problem. If it's a dent that could affect the structural integrity of the rim that's a problem. But if it's a small dent like cars get from hail damage then that doesn't sound like it would be an issue.

Is it a huge deal not to get the rim replaced right away, meaning can it wait or should I get it replaced asap. I just noticed a small dent on the front tire's rim of my Ducati Monster M900 and I already drove on the freeway several times since the dent most likely happened while I was driving in the city (San Francisco) last week. Can any one comment thanks.
