Small Claims court and my broken laptop?

So a kid who came over to my house, broke my laptop. We were all in the kitchen at the table playin quarters and him and another guy went into my living room one was laying on the couch and the other went to go mess with him and tried to tea bag him. Then the guy laying down pushed him and the "tea bagger" landed on my laptop. All of us saw him doing it. I'm thinkin on bringing him to small claims court here's my idea #1 i didn't invite him, #2 I didn't let him in he walked in, #3 A bunch of people saw him do it and he said he felt bad. #4 I gave him over a week and a half to contact me and he sent me a message on facebook admitting he did it and said he was parts shopping, however it's beyond repair. #5 I've tried to contact him several times and finally have come to the confusion that he won't do anything about it. #6 worst part! I'm 20 he's 23, he supplied the alcohol, he works and collects unemployment and he's plain and simply an obnoxious idiot. So give me your thoughts. Keep in mind my friends are immature as hell, and the laptop was on my table over in the corner by the couches and there shouldn't of been any reason it got knocked over.
he bought the alcohol and supplied it before they all arrived at my house, he bought it then gave it to on of my friends who came over then later on he came over after he went and got his girlfriend. It was about twenty or thirty minutes after everyone had got there so no one was really intoxicated by the time of incident. There is also no reason why the alcohol part would come up in court. They won't ask was their drinking at this get together? Even still his actions should still be liable, drunk drivers who kill someone still get in trouble, it's not dismissed just because they are drunk.....
