I was recently employed at a small janitorial company, that had a total of 6 employees. I have worked for many large companies, but never one so small. My question is this.... if you are fired from that job, what kind of paperwork does the owner of the company file to remove you from payroll? Do they send paperwork into the department of labor, and if so how quickly do they do that? I ask this because I was on unemployment while working this PT job, and am scared that my recent firing form this job will discontinue my UE benefits. And before someone says differently, yes you can hold a PT job while collecting unemployment. I live and work in PA. Thanks!
